Technologies in Lords Online come in two types: castle technologies and hero spells.
Technologies[]
Players study technologies in an Academy. Technologies have to be researched separately in each castle; there is no carryover of technology from one castle to another.
Academies can study two technologies at a time. It is not possible to add an additional research line to the queue.
Spells[]
Heroes learn spells in a Black Tower. Spell acquisition is instantaneous once a hero has the right prerequisites.
